Kaylynn Marie Photography » The recent work of Kaylynn Marie Photography in New Orleans, Louisiana
-
Hi! I’m Kaylynn Marie, an easy-going photographer living and working in New Orleans, Louisiana. I hope you enjoy the work I'm able to share with you here.
As an artist and a person, I take great pride and pleasure in each new piece of art and story that I'm given the opportunity to create. I am so thankful to be able to do so over and over again!
I have two simple goals in work and in life- first, to pursue long-term worth. Second, to spread the movement! I'm learning to ignore the pull of shock value and cute-points, choosing instead to pursue a value that increases over time.
I want this to be true in my photography, in my relationships, and in everything I do. One of all-time favorite articles is by Justin Zoradi, 'The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying'. I'm so thankful to have this on my mind in my 20's, while I still have so much time to spread love, to inspire, to build and maintain meaningful relationships, to learn to live a life that is true to myself, and to make investments that will be seeing returns long after I'm done existing. This makes me so excited about life and living!
I'm not trying to Anne-of-Green-Gables-it here, I'm just being honest. Life is a beautiful gift and I'm excited to do it with you all.
I've spared you the list of fun-facts common to most 'about me' sections. Let's leave that to social media, by getting connected through the links below!

Do those eyes not pierce you straight through you?
I made the move to new orleans last month and wanted to break in the house with some photos that felt like a deep, clean breath. Soulful and sincere.
I’ve been keeping myself quite busy lately, but tonight I wanted to take a quick break from wrapping up a few beautiful weddings to share these personal portraits of my beloved and talented friend.

Catherine Guidry - I’m happy you made the move. And happy you’re in my life.
Beautiful work.
Max - These are some of the most incredible portraits I’ve seen from you in a long time. Wedding work aside, this is show stopping awesome. Honest portraiture to a degree worth sharing with all and I’m glad you did.
